About
Jung Whee In (정휘인) known as Whee In, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, composer, and dancer. She is a member of the girl group "MAMAMOO" who debuted on June 19, 2014. Whee In is in charge of vocals and performance (dance) in MAMAMOO. She is mostly recognized by her velvety honey voice that touches the hearts of listeners.
Wheein was born in Jeonju, South Korea on April 17, 1995. Since very young she has showed interest in music and the arts, mostly with the influence of her mother who is also an artist/photographer. She and fellow MAMAMOO member Hwa Sa have been best friends since middle school and went hand in hand to Seoul to pursue their dreams together.
Dubbed as MAMAMOO's "genius" and "ace", Whee In is an all-rounder artist and can easily adapt to any role she's assigned to. Aside from music, she also draws, paints, and sketches. She has been heavily involved in the artwork of her solo albums, with her paintings being featured in the album jacket, music video, and photobook. She also drew a sketch for Hwa Sa's first single album "Twit". To add to her already many skills, she also learned how to play drums for MAMAMOO's 4Seasons 4Colors concert in 2019.
Whee In debuted with MAMAMOO under RBW Entertainment back in 2014. However, in 2021, Whee In parted ways with RBW while still remaining as a member of MAMAMOO. She signed a special contract with RBW and will be included in all future MAMAMOO activities (comebacks, concerts, merch, etc.) She signed with THE L1VE label to manage her solo activities.
